After years of studying recipes and techniques (ask me about the protein content of different flours, but only if you have spare time), and a successful career in the field of education, I started Catherine George Cakes as an entrepreneurial adventure and a chance to connect with clients during moments of celebration. 

Catherine George Cakes exists because I know that cake is special. I love the science, art, and culture of cake. Cakes are communal. The shared experience marks happy milestones in our lives, creating a touchstone we can revisit through multi-sensory memories.

I strive to create cakes that are beautiful as well as delicious with designs that reflect the moment, but have a timeless beauty. I love collaborating with clients to arrive at the perfect design for each event.
